GENERAL SUMMARY:


Under direction of the Project Manager or the Director, develops and implements a comprehensive program to collect data and effectively report information from this data to a variety of customers. The customers and end users of this support service include executive leadership, internal customers, the Board of Trustees, System leadership and external oversight/regulatory bodies. This position generates reports and supports comparative data base maintenance regarding strategic and operational performance for performance review, operational effectiveness, and improvement efforts.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Explores and recommends market and growth strategies including collecting research and data and authenticating results
  • Performs statistical analysis as needed
  • Develops appropriate techniques to gather data, streamlining and automating to the most prudent use possible
  • Creates and updates comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections and trends, and market forces.
  • Integrates market and competitive intelligence from multiple sources to develop reports and other information tools. Provides necessary research and analysis to support strategic initiatives and measurement from both a growth and customer satisfaction perspective.
  • Assists with customer research projects (survey research, focus groups, journey maps) that collect information related to customer satisfaction, customer preferences, brand awareness, product concerns and purchasing dynamics.
  • Other duties as assigned.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in at least one of the following: Market Research, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, Market Strategy, preferred.
  • Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in at least one of the following: Market Research, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, Market Strategy. Health Insurance or Healthcare industry, preferred.
