The Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) is seeking a Chair for the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Women’s Health Services to provide vision and direction at 3 hospitals and 16 ambulatory sites.  HFHS is one of the nation’s leading comprehensive health systems, providing acute, primary, and preventive care services with a tradition of excellence in research and education and a collaborative practice with the other specialties of the 1,000 physician Henry Ford Medical Group (HFMG).

 

The Department has 30 faculty physicians providing inpatient and outpatient services throughout southeastern Michigan, as well as 12 residents.  The Chair reports to the CEO of the HFMG and is expected to advance the clinical, educational and research mission of the Department on a system-wide basis.  A collaborative leadership style, strong academic credentials, and a proven track record in administration and finances are required, as well as board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
