Clinical Pharmacist - Acute Care Pharmacy - Full Time - Afternoons - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A Pharm.D. or M.S. with clinical residency, or a student enrolled in an advanced pharmacy degree program is necessary, or a B.S. in pharmacy and knowledge as typically acquired in these programs.
Valid State of Michigan Pharmacist and Controlled Substance License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharmacy experience in a hospital or retail setting.
