General Summary:

Under the direction and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager (NM), provides clinical leadership and supervisory support to assigned unit. Works in partnership with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director, the health care team, and management to ensure a quality practice setting that supports professional nursing practice and quality patient care. Using nursing process, interacts directly with patients/family members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 
  • Requires a minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's in Health Related field preferred. 
  • Requires at least 12 months of R.N. experience providing nursing care, including 3 months of R.N. experience providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis. 
  • Current license to practice in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
