Outpatient Psychotherapist (Social Worker/MSW) Full-time - Outpatient Behavioral Health - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
The Outpatient Psychotherapist Assesses and evaluates individuals' problems through the use of case history, interview, and observation and provide individual or group counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
Minimum Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology or Ph.D. in Psychology
Required Licenses/Certifications
Valid MSW or LPC license in the State of Michigan.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills required.
Ability to use effective verbal and written communication skills and work as member of a team is required.
Must be skilled in interviewing, gathering, and recording patient information.
Knowledgeable in the care of adults, geriatrics, children and/or adolescents and families required.
Knowledgeable of case management principles is required.
Ability to provide good customer service is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Fully licensed MSW in the State of Michigan.
Clinical experience in providing treatment/therapy for mental health and/or substance abuse is preferred.
