Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Home Health Services - Full-time - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
Helps occupational therapy clients by providing rehabilitative services, under the direction of occupational therapists, to persons with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited program
Satisfactory completion of clinical field work
Ability to problem-solve, effective verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge about the care of adult, and geriatric patients
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Licensure in the State of Michigan as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in acute Rehab or short term Rehab setting or sub-acute rehab experience working with early mobility patients.
