Nursing Assistant - In Home Hospice - Full-time - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI
The Nursing Assistant – In Home Hospice delivers hands on care to adult and geriatric patients which support the patient/family plan of care for physical, emotional and social needs of the patient and/or family in the home of patients. Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the patient and direct patient care area; assists with basic patient care and other duties as competency and delegated by RN.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Required Licenses/CertificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant license in the State of Michigan
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills required
Must be self directing with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with long term care or hospice patient population.
Basic keyboard skills and experience using computer systems/EMR
