Ophthalmologist- Comprehensive
Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a board certified/eligible comprehensive ophthalmologist to see patients at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Physicians are encouraged to participate in teaching and providing excellent patient care.
- Ophthalmologist applicants must have graduated from a medical school program accredited by: (1) the Liaison Committee on Medical Education which is sponsored by the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges, or (2) the Canadian Medical Association; or a College of Osteopathic Medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association; or have successfully passed the ECFMG or equivalent qualifying examination.
- The Ophthalmology applicant must have completed an ACGME approved Ophthalmology residency program, and be Board eligible or certified in his/her specialty.
- Board certification must occur within the first three years of eligibility.
