Coordinate credentialing and contracting activities and initiate requests to add new providers or change provider par status and demographics within the claims payment system. Support network adequacy and contract file audit activities. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma Two (2) years of college with courses in business, or computer related program, preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of health care experience Minimum of two (2) years of Provider Relations/Provider Contracting experience Strong working knowledge of mainframe computer systems and personal computers Knowledge and experience of a managed care organization's operations Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, preferred Analytical and problem solving skills Must possess organizational and time management skills Self, motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to type 45 words per minute Knowledge of HAP's provider system, preferred Knowledge of reporting applications Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outook, Excel and Microsoft Word)
